I'm a week late in posting this, but Danielle has done it again....another amazing Kitschy Digitals kit, Braided! Also be sure to check out the KD site to see the new look!
I did something a little different this time. I printed the rosettes out onto printable canvas in three sizes per style, then layered them for dimension. I added some embroidered felt leaves I made, vintage buttons, then attached an alligator clip for a cute hair accessory (modeled by my gorgeous sister).
Things have been busy around here. Our little man just turned one a couple days ago. I can't believe how fast time is flying by! He started taking his first steps last Tuesday, too! We are having a blast watching him grow. He is so much fun.
He likes chewing on unopened popsicles. He has molars coming in, so I think it feels good on his gums. He already has 10 teeth!
My latest project has been fabric headbands for Blythe. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I finally found a way to make the back stretchy that I'm happy with. I'll have them on sale in my Etsy shop very soon. Here is the first one I started fooling around with, using vintage yo yos from the 1930's:
More to come....as always, I have a lot to catch up on!
